Precision Coursing

Precision Coursing is offered through the United Kennel Club (UKC). The purpose of Precision Coursing is to elicit the dog’s natural prey drive and chasing instincts. Precision Coursing will give dogs an opportunity to learn patterned courses that become increasingly complex. Courses will test a dog’s speed, agility, and foresight. Precision Coursing has several divisions and three disciplines: Precision Coursing: Novice/Advanced or Superior/Master level rings may be 100 x 75 feet. Elite level rings must be at least 100 x 100 feet. Precision Coursing Dash: All courses must be 75 x 200 feet. Precision Coursing Steeplechase: All courses must be 75 x 200 feet. There is a time limit. These will be listed on our events page. Please see Precision Coursing Rules for more information.
